IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN ROSE LATELY THAT’S CAUSE YOU CAN’T SHE JUST DROPPED A SH*T LOAD OF WEIGHT IN TWO MONTHS ON THE ZONE!
AND IN HER OWN WORDS:
Three months after I had my son August, I made it to the gym. I was so nervous. I didn’t know anyone and I felt like it was my first day at a new school. Chris definitely made me chill when I realized that he is a silly goof. I didn’t know going there that first day how much I would enjoy going to Crossfit. It was so much more than I expected! It was such a relief to find something that compared to the competitive nature of being on a team, to make you want to work hard every time you go. I was hooked.
I continued to workout (except a few spastic mishaps with my ankle) until I got morning sickness with my second pregnancy. I give a ton of credit to women who workout when they are pregnant. I know pregnancy effects everyone differently, but exercise wasn’t for me. Then, I wish I could tell you that I learned my lesson the first time and stayed away from the sweets, but I didn’t. After having my “Lady Baby” Elsa, I started back at the gym in April. I was 10 lbs heavier than when I first started Crossfit, how discouraging.
However, I have been working toward my goals and in the past two months have made greater strides. I got my diet in check by following The Zone, strictly. My kitchen scale and measuring cups are used nonstop. I find it easiest to cut and prepare ahead of time. I make hard boiled eggs for the week and other fruits and vegetables for a few days (celery, cauliflower, cantaloupe, broccoli, green beans). I lost 13 lbs and inches in three weeks. The last week I only ate fish and vegetables. I have always needed to watch what I eat and stay active to keep from gaining weight. So, I found that cutting the fats and the fruits out of The Zone lead to much quicker results for me and I am sticking with it.
I am ecstatic to have lost a total of 30 lbs so far. I haven’t quite attained the goal of fitting into my clothes that I wore before my first baby (there will be some crazy celebrating when I do). But, I feel great. I look forward to waking up at the crack of dawn to work out. I have crazy amounts of energy to keep up with the demands of my little ones. I am in a better mood. My posture has improved. I get more personal goals accomplished. And I do not have an ass in the front!
